Support Our Mission
Empowering Through Creativity and Opportunity
At Industry Horror and Autism Works Printshop, our mission is to provide a supportive work environment for individuals with special needs, empowering them to grow and become more independent. We offer job training and employment opportunities to autistic teens and adults in Ventura County, aiming to transform their lives through skill-building and meaningful work.
90% of adults with autism face unemployment or underemployment. We are committed to changing these statistics by offering stability, income, and tailored training to meet their unique needs.
Help us open professional doors and support these remarkable individuals. Your donation is crucial and will make a significant impact, fostering self-sufficiency and confidence in our local autistic community
A Letter From Our Founders
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Since 2017, Industry Horror has provided job training and a supportive work environment for 100+ individuals with special needs, empowering them to grow and become more independent adults. We have built a special community locally for autistic children, young adults, and their families to gain support and resources so they can thrive.
Today, we're embarking on growing our cause into the country's first trade school and community for autistic and neurodivergent adults. Our vision includes programs in skills like printmaking, embroidery, mechanics, culinary arts, robotics, computer programming. The supportive campus will also have long-term housing, other community-supportive facilities run by our project graduates including a restaurant, store, park, and more.
With our team of local design professionals and dedicated community volunteers, we have begun the early phases of project development including conceptual design and securing our future campus location. Your donation to Industry Horror no matter what size is a meaningful contribution to our project.
With Gratitude,
Ryan and Davina DeCant
